117 W Duval St #175 (904) 630-3680  vetsvcs@coj.net  M-F 8am-5pm Provides veterans entitlement services and employment and social service case management services for qualifying veterans and their families. Services offered: help in obtaining copies of and correcting military records; submitting claims for disability, pension, medical, education and burial entitlements; assistance in obtaining VA home loan certification and submitting VA income verification; referrals for veterans seeking employment and help for veterans and their families returning to a state of independent living. Also helps in obtaining temporary and transitional housing, referrals to other social services/agencies.

Vets provided with or referred to agencies for assistance with housing, counseling, medical, etc. Vets are assigned a case manager who helps them obtain services they need. Homeless Coordinator for Homeless Veterans. Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Northeast Florida Veterans Council
NEFVC is a unified voice for lobby and veteran rights, made up of veterans organizations from the Greater Jacksonville Area.  We are committed to representing the interests of our veteran community to city and state government in order to further the causes therein.

Provides assistance to veterans, their widows dependents and dependent survivors regardless of age or other status.  Services are focused on attainment and/or maintenance of self-sufficiency.
